We had a great experience with the law firm and the lawyer Carmelina she listen to us. Child support and custody she went straint to the point advise us and she was hire in a month we had temp. Custody and child support stop and then two years fighting in the courts to have it done. She always communicated back to us she used the portal she has to communicate quickly and effectively. And the staff always glad to help. I recommend her and in any other case i will hire her again.

I was going through one of the worst experiences of my life and thought things couldn't get any worse, however a friend of mine highly recommended this Attorney. Once I walked in her office I didn't know what to expect but she reassured me that she would help me figure this thing out. I am so grateful that she was there for me through my divorce, she was always honest, very attentive towards my case and what I liked most is that she was always available. I was losing my house. My oldest child had just left for college and my job had just finish laying a whole bunch of people off. After my modification fell through I went to go see my accountant, When he hands me Ms. Marins business card. It took me about 3 days before i decided to call her being that i was unsure of what actions i needed to take. I knew my family depended on me and how was i suppose to explain to a complete stranger that my life was a mess. I still remember our first conversation, i was in tears and she was able to calm me down and she sat there and gave me advice and although it was a quarter till 5, she asked how far i was and if i could come in. That very same night we met. We went through a series of options, I cried I laughed and in the end Ms. Marin was the best choice for me. I couldn't imagine my case being handled by any other attorney. I thank her and her team for always being there for me.

I was on vacation in Orlando and was wrongly arrested. Ms. Marin was the only attorney that took the time to listen to my whole story. She took my case and defended my rights at every turn. She filed a Motion to Dismiss and it was granted and the charges were dropped by the state.

After talking to Ms. Marin, she restored my faith in my future by giving me all the information I needed to decide on filing bankruptcy. She did not rush me on the first consult and gave me a game plan. She old me the hardest part was deciding to make an appoitment and she was right. I have told all my family and lose friends about her and even brought my mom to her office.

Never answers phone calls, rarely responds to email communication….took her 76 days from the time she took the initial payment to file the divorce…after 3 months of filing asked her to set mediation which was set nearly 8 months after our filing and then she cancelled it without my consent. The other party never submitted financials, it took her 7 months to file a motion to compel for the same and more than 60 days later never followed up on it or requested a hearing to be set. Then she drops me because I did what any prudent person would do if their attorney is not responsive which is follow up with the judge directly. Miraculously the other party reported a response from her 42 days after their submitted agreement and several requests from me to submit a counter offer, she claimed the other party never submitted financials, but she also didn’t do anything to follow up or enforce the law so that the other party produce their documentation. If you need to get divorce in a timely manner and you are seeking clear and concise communication Ms Marin is not for you. I also asked for a breakdown of her charges which she conveniently replied she charges a “FLAT” fee…basically she can file for you and so nothing else beyond that because that is what she charges….then your time is up and she’s not obligated to renew the contract. We will definitely file an official complaint with the Florida Bar.

It started off good. I thought things were gonna change for me after dealing with my ex for so long. I paid my bill as we discussed and we went to mediation after about 7 months. My ex and I could not agree on things so instead of pushing on Ms Marin and I left and we were supposed to go to court and let judge settle it. Paid another fee as discussed to go to trial. After months I was instructed it sometimes better to let the other side show their hand. So never having used a lawyer before in my life I went by her advice. Nothing ever happened, then finally I get a notice to appear for mediation again from the court. Call the office and find out Ms Marin had withdrawn from my case. I had no knowledge f this from her or the court. So in short terms I paid for a large amount and NEVER got anything accomplished especially with the 2nd fee, no mediation, no trial, just got took and felt as I was scammed out of my money. VERY DISPLEASED!!

the worse ever, never return a call, neither an email, we were waitting to be represented in florida of a child support case that remains in ny because needs to be moved to florida and we are in texas, long story short. they never reply back even though were asking for rep. fees to start with the case. not even to say (i wont represent you for such and such) i wont give a "O" just because is not posible so please do not waste your money and/or time trying to get representation from this "law firm" and by the way: her secretary is the rudest ever. DON'T WASTE (M,T)

I depended on this law firm to help me with child support I was not receiving from my child's father. He lived out of state and owed child support for many years. I was told he would be arrested and then, eventually be forced to pay for my child support. Neither of those events has happened. I called many times to the law office to check on the case and all I got was " we'll see what we can do for you". I feel that I wasted my time and money! Now I have to search for another law firm to help with my situation. I do not recommend this law firm!!

Called and did a consultation. The woman (attorney) I spoke with was absolutely zero help and basically had this advice to offer: You should hire me to be with you at mediation so you have back up. I'm in a divorce case involving domestic violence (I'm the victim) and she had zero empathy and honestly hardly seemed to have any experience in that type of case. Waste of $. They don't care about you at all.

don't ever do business with these people and this lawyer, the robbed my husband $4200 dollars. to do business with them he only had to put about $500 dollars based on the "contract" but because he had the money he gave them more he gave them $4200 after 3 days when he called and explained to them he didn't want to proceed and it was okay to loose whatever it was not refundable but he wanted the rest of the money back because they didn't have to do anything they refused to refund his money. so just like that this firm stole $4200 dollars he asked to talk to this lady carmelina marin and she refused to talk to him, she sent him a message with the secretary that there was no refund to be made. right there you can see how dishonest she is and that she don't really care about the people but only money. we agree to pay any penalty but for 3 days when they didn't even have to do paperwork they stole this money. Never do business or contracts with this thief. I stole $4,200 dollars from my husband when he wanted to give her more than what the contract required to start his case. Three days later I called and explained that I was not going to do anything and that I agreed to lose the initial that was required based on the contract but the This thief took advantage and told him that it didn't matter how much money he had put in, she wasn't going to give him back a dollar when he didn't even have to do paperwork. But I hope that next year there will be many clients that you lose as a thief. You will see how bad things will be for you because the $4,200 that you stole from us will be missing three times as much. THIEVES When my husband asked to speak with her, the shameless thing she did was send him a message with the secretary that she was not going to give him any refund. Multiply very well because next year is going to be very bad, so make the money that was stolen from us pay off.

This is the most dishonest and thieving "lawyer" ever to do any type of case with her, she is a complete scam. She took my money and my husband's when he gave her more than what the contract required and three days later I called her to explain that I was not interested in doing it and that I could lose the initial according to the contract because I understood even knowing that they had not started any case and less paperwork. The thief told me that it didn't matter that I had given more than what was required, that she would lose all the money and she stole $4,200 dollars from me. abusive But there is a need to know if they are going to accuse her of being dishonest. I asked the secretary to talk to her and she never wanted to come to the phone. What she did was send me a message with the secretary that she wasn't going to return anything. THIEF.
